Mission Statement
Southern Highlands Community Transport is committed to the provision and development of transport services for disadvantaged members of the community.
Southern Highlands Community Transport is funded under the Home & Community Care Program and the Community Transport Program to provide transport to:
- Older and Frail persons with moderate, severe or profound disability
- Younger persons with moderate, severe or profound disability
- Carer’s of these people
- People on a pension, low income earners
- Parents with young children with no transport
- Transport isolated people (no public transport)
- Financially disadvantaged people
- Eligible transport beneficiaries – Department of Veteran Affairs
Each client is assessed on their ability to use other means of transport and the level of assistance they require to complete daily living tasks.
Two of our Community buses are owned by Wingecarribee Shire Council and managed by Southern Highlands Community Transport Inc.
Office Hours
Monday to Friday
9am to 5pm
There is an answering machine if you wish to leave a message on weekends or in the evening after office hours. This can be helpful if you have poor health and need to change or cancel bookings at short notice.
